White Belt Training

On-site one day course includes basic problem solving skills such as the 8 wastes, 5S, Mistake Proofing, Fishbone Diagrams and Process Mapping for up to 20 students. Additional students would incur additional fees. See pricing note about what is included in the price.

Yellow Belt Training

On-site one day course includes an introduction to the DMAIC methodology and key process improvement project tools such as a SIPOC, Charter, Operational Definitions, and Run Charts for up to 20 students. Additional students would incur additional fees. It is recommended that participants take White Belt training first. See pricing note about what is included in the price.

Green Belt Training

On-site five-day course includes a comprehensive set of tools for a continuous improvement project using the DMAIC methodology, for up to 20 students. Additional students would incur additional fees. See pricing note about what is included in the price.

Black Belt Training

This on-site course course includes advanced tools and techniques associated with the DMAIC methodology. The length of the course would vary depending on the knowledge of the participants (e.g. what level of belt training they may have already taken). Green Belt Certification

Green Belt Certification requires completion of Green Belt training, passing a test and completing a successful project using the DMAIC methodology. Talk to a IQS specialist to discuss your particular situation to meet these requirements.

Black Belt Certification

Black Belt Certification requires completion of Black Belt training, passing a test and completing two successful projects using the DMAIC methodology. Talk to a IQS specialist to discuss your particular situation to meet these requirements.

Master Black Belt Certification

Master Black Belt Certification requires demonstration of the following skills: (a) Leadership (b) Coaching (c) Project Management (d) Statistics Proficiency at a Black Belt Level (e) Data Analysis Knowledge Beyond BB Level (f) DMAIC Tools Proficiency and (g) DFSS Knowledge.

Discrete Event Simulation Services

Predicting the impact of changes to a process can be difficult in today’s complex world. Discrete event simulation (DES) can help understand the impact without interrupting current operations. DES is a computer model of the system under study, whatever that system may be such as an emergency department, an assembly line or bank. To create the model, data such as the process flow, process operating rules, and processing times are converted into code to simulate the current state process. Once this model has been validated, the code can be changed to reflect proposed changes to the process. Contact IQS for pricing.
